1 + 1 = ? (2 of course)
There is always a lot of advice about doing one thing at a time, which by the way is very true.
But does doing one thing at a time always seems to be soooo slow?
Do you always feel like you could be doing more and just focusing on one thing seems like frankly a waste of time?
But what if you did one thing this morning really well, like nailed it.
And what if you did another completely separate thing in the afternoon, again nailed it,
Now imagine if you did that every day, what would your week look like?
Would your week be more effective than any other week? Would it be twice as effective as any other week? More than that?
Now we are not talking here about your everyday jobs; we are talking about a task that you have decided needs to be done. A strategic task that fits in with the overall plan for the business.
Often our everyday tasks, our routines get in the way or even worse we end up down the Facebook rabbit hole and don’t get anywhere.
If you did just 1 task in the morning and 1 in the afternoon, what would that equal for your business?
Possibly the bigger question is can you even determine what those tasks would be?
Have you sat down and decided on ten tasks that would help you and your business move forward in the right direction?
If you haven’t, then maybe that is the first morning’s task, write out your ten.
Then get yourself ready for the best, the most productive week you have ever had.
Now you will see what 1 + 1 equals.
